Election time NOW

I have been reluctant to share my views about the US elections due to fear that I might use offensive language.

However, webmaster Bruce found me a great blog written by an 82-year-old American woman which says it all. Take a look. Margaret and Helen has, in a very short time, shot to the top of the US blog charts. It is worth a read, and I agree with every word.

Helen's summary of the reasons she will vote for the Democrats is particularly good.

Election day in the USA is a big day, not only for the people of that wonderful country - I spent several formative years there attending elementary schools - but also for the rest of the world.

If Obama wins, and I hope he does, and manages to implement the change we need there is real hope, and maybe one day, unity.
